#36 CP Topic

The topic of my common place is Plastic Surgery. South Korea, capital, Seoul, has a reputation as the place to go for a nip or a tuck. But despite being an unregulated industry, thousands seem willing to risk injury in pursuit of a perfect body and look. According to poll in South Korea, nearly 90 percent of Korean women would have plastic surgery to feel better about themselves. None said personality rather than looks is what matters. There is even a popular road known as “plastic surgery Street.”   Plastic surgery is becoming quite popular or even essential among the celebrities all over the world as well. They would want to change the way they look and try to become more glamorous, young and sexy. It is undeniable that plastic surgery has made some people become confident, pretty and famous. However, disadvantages way outweigh the good sides. There are news about people who died due to the cosmetic surgery. Some people would get addicted to the surgery and keep doing it until their faces become too horrible to look at. Bad plastic surgery could not be fixed, which means people need to do more research before actually undergoing the surgery.
Plastic surgery is a common thing nowadays. Some of my friends have more or less done something like opening double-fold eyelid, nose lift, breast implants, etc.  There is nothing wrong trying to have a “best face”; however, when faced with something that is quite risky like plastic surgery, it is always a good idea to do some research and try not to become addicted to it.
